Spicy Meatballs

A wonderful recipe for flavorful, spicy meatballs. They taste like you cooked them all day, but this is a really quick recipe that's perfect for a weeknight. Serve on top of whole wheat pasta with crusty garlic bread for a healthy meal. Delish!

Spicy Meatballs

1 pound lean ground beef
3/4 cup crushed seasoned croutons
1/4 cup chopped sweet onion
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Preheat your oven to 370 degrees.

In a large bowl, mix together with your hands the ground beef and the rest of the ingredients. Form the mixture into meatballs.

Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable spray.

Place the meatballs on the cookie sheet leaving enough room in between them so that they don't touch.

Bake the meatballs in the oven at 370 degrees for 15 minuntes.

Remove them and add to a large stock pot with your favorite spaghetti sauce and finish cooking them over medium high heat for about 15 minutes more. So good!

Makes about 4 servings
