Chilled Red Wine Fruit Dressing

An absolutely addictive dressing for fruit salad! Treat your body right by using all organic ingredients.


Ingredients:

1 cup organic dry red wine
1/2 cup organic sugar
2 tbsp organic red wine vinegar
1 organic cinnamon stick (3 inches)
8 organic whole cloves


 Directions:

In a saucepan, combine the wine, sugar, red wine vinegar, cinnamon stick and cloves. 

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. 

Strain the liquid, discarding the cinnamon sticks and cloves. 

Add the dressing to your chopped up fruit*, mixing well.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. 

*I recommend a combination of any of the following organic fruits:

watermellon 
kiwi
apples
pears
cantelope
honeydew melon
strawberries
grapes

Makes 8-10 servings.
