Classic Chicken Noodle Soup

Have you ever wondered how to make a sick family member or friend feel better? Take them this soup. It's my favorite soup to eat when I'm sick. It's so simple to make, very flavorful, and delicious!

Classic Chicken Noodle Soup

1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup carrots, diced
1/4 cup onion, diced
2 chicken breasts, diced
7 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp dried parsley
8 ounces of your favorite noodle

In a large stock pot, sauté the celery, carrots, onions, and chicken in olive oil for about 5 minutes.

Add the chicken broth, marjoram, garlic powder, black pepper, bay leaf, and parsley. Simmer for 30 minutes, adding in the noodles the last 10 minutes. Remove the bay leaf. Hmm, hmm, good!

Makes 6 servings
