This is a really quick, easy, and elegant dessert. As always, simple ingredients produce fabulous results. It tastes delicious! Top with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and you're good to go:-)
Strawberry Blueberry Cobbler
Berry Mixture Ingredients:
3 cups total of fresh strawberries & blueberries (frozen berries ok if thawed)
3/4 cup brown sugar
Cobbler Mixture Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 stick of butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Thoroughly grease a 9 inch pie plate with butter and set aside.
Pour stawberries and blueberries into a bowl. Add in brown sugar. Stir to combine. Let the mixture sit covered for about 15 munutes or so letting the berries fully absorb the sugar and create a syrup.
In a seperate bowl, add flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to thoroughly combine.
Add in the mik and stir to combine.
Add in the melted butter and stir to combine.
Pour this cobbler batter into your prepared pie plate.
Next, drop in your berry mixture by large spoonfuls onto the cobbler batter. Do not stir and do not overlap the mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 35 minutes.
Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. So good!
