I love making my own salad dressing! It tastes so much better than anything you would buy at the store. And better yet, you know what you're putting into your body. Have you ever read the ingredient label on your store-bought dressing? Do me a favor and go to your fridge. Now take a look. Do you see things like high fructose corn syrup, xanthan gum, or calcium disodium edta? See anything else you can't recognize? Do you really need that stuff in your salad dressing? Of course not! We can do so much better than that. Now toss out that dressing and take a look at the ingredients in my dressing below. Recognize everything? Good, now go ahead and blend up this tasty, healthy dressing for your family. You'll never go back to store-bought again!
Mustard Vinaigrette
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup olive oil
In a blender, add all ingredients and blend until thoroughly combined. Refrigerate until serving.
So good!
Makes about 10 ounces of dressing
