Cajun Seasoning

One of the keys to great cooking is a great arsenal of seasonings. No matter what the dish, if it isn't seasoned right, it may look good...but that's it. The taste will leave you wanting for more. One of my go to seasonings is a cajun seasoning from non other than Emeril. He is the king of all things Creole, and this seasoning doesn't disappoint. I use this to make my cajun tilapia. It is nice and spicy and adds just enough kick. The key with seasonings is not to overwhelm your dish with them. It's like wearing a nice piece of jewelry...the jewelry should enhance YOU, it's not the main event. So go ahead and add a bit of spicy "adornment" to your next meal!

2 tablespoons garlic powder
