Slow Cooker Pork

Pork...it's what's for dinner. But let's be honest, this meat can easily come out dry and tasteless if you're not careful. You can over roast it, under roast it, it can be tricky. The easiest way I've found to make a pork that is not time consuming and comes out absolutely perfect is using the slow cooker. I love my slow cooker! It makes dinner time a synch. This pork comes out so tender, moist, flavorful....wonderful! And you will not believe the recipe. It's so easy and your house will smell amazing. The pork is paired here with my baked brown rice. I can't wait to see your comments on this one!

Slow Cooker Pork

2 lbs pork loin, shoulder, or butt
3 cloves of minced garlic
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp salt

Combine garlic, pepper, oregano, olive oil, vinegar and salt. Rub pork with mixture and place inside the crock of your crock pot. Cover with the lid and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, take the crock out of the fridge and place in the crock pot.

Cook on low for 8 hours. Delicious!

Makes about 8-10 servings
